Title : 木場の雪 (Kiba no yuki / きば の ゆき / Snow at Kiba) Kiba is a place name in the southern part of Koto-ku, Tokyo. Or Kiba is a place where lumber is stored. It is also a place where many lumber merchants gather and live. Fukagawa in Yedo and Itachibori in Osaka are especially famous. Author :川瀬巴水 (Kawase Hasui / かわせ はすい) 川瀬巴水 (Kawase Hasui (May 18, 1883 - November 7, 1957)) was a woodblock print artist active during the Taisho and Showa periods. He established the world of new prints in an attempt to revive the declining Japanese ukiyoe prints. His works were highly acclaimed overseas, and he has been called the "Hiroshige of the Showa period. Please enjoy the world of more than 30 multi-colored woodblock prints with deep impressions of ordinary Japanese scenes and characteristic blue. *Note: I used data from the National Diet Library's Digital Collection and made color corrections. *Any of my designs can be transferred to over a thousand other items and adjust the design to fit the product if you needed.
