William Morris Vintage Red Flowers Floral Pattern Mug - The image decorating this product is a furnishing fabric design created in 1876 by William Morris (1834-1896). The design features symmetrical tulips and roses within compartments formed by stems and leaves. Morris was highly influenced by historical patterns and was one of the most educated textile historians of the late 19th century. He was the artist and designer who was the greatest single influence on the Arts and Crafts Movement and the most successful textile designer and manufacturer of his time.
