Reproduction Vintage Postcard Circa: Early 1900's The Gratiot Light was the first lighthouse built in the state of Michigan in 1829. It marks the entrance to the Ste. Claire River from Lake Huron heading South. The light is still active. The lighthouse was recently handed over to the Port Huron Museum.
