Show your support for the 19th Amendment granting women the right to vote with this commemorative 100th Anniversary tie bar. This is the Victory Flag. The official American Suffrage Flag has the gold, white, and purple colors. When the 19th Amendment was passed in Congress, it still needed 3/4 of the states to ratify it in order to be added to the Constitution. A star was added each time a state passed the legislation. When the 36th and final star was added the Victory Flag was unfurled off the balcony of the National Woman's Party Headquarters in Washington D.C. on August 18, 1920 signaling that all American women had won the right to vote.
