Juniata Terminal Co. is a locomotive leasing and railcar storage company. The company takes its name from the facility in Philadelphia from which it operates, A former PRR The company owns several restored diesel locomotives, including a pair of former Conrail EMD E8As which have been overhauled and painted in the Pennsylvania Railroad wide-stripe paint scheme. These two units often pull the company's private passenger cars, and can be seen on special excursions with Amtrak equipment or MARC equipment. The 5809 was the first passenger locomotive restored. it is seen here pulling a small passenger train on the Fox Chase Branch of the reading railroad, which is now operated by Septa and used by CSX for its route to New York.
