Conrail Shared Assets had released Norfolk Southern owned GP38, PRR #2943, with a special Conrail Blue paint scheme celebrating Conrail's 25th anniversary in 2001. The engine had "Spirit of Conrail" under the cab and "Conrail Quality; 25 Years of Safety and Service "on the hood. I believe it was taken out of service in the fall of 2004, with most engines of its class. The engine is shown here at Frankford Junction, Philadelphia Pennsylvania.
