This original oil painting was inspired by the scene out my back window in East Burke Vermont in the winter time. The red horse drawn sleigh being pulled through the fresh snow in the late afternoon of a Vermont winter day. I had lots fo fun exagerating the cool purple shadows across the snow, mountains and trees.
