Meaning Beware of the Dog. Not our very own red puppy mind. He is likely to lick you to death, or cause an injury by pushing you over... The original image this design is based on is over 2000 years old. It is a mosaic from Greece which is now held in the National Archeological Museum, Naples, Italy. Anything dog related always interests me. I've given this a modern edge using shadows and changes in color to create an almost 3D effect to reflect the tiled pieces that make up the original.
