Happy Birthday with a Bunch Butterflies Holiday Card
This Birthday card has my adaptation of one of William Kirby's vintage illustrations. William Kirby was an English entomologist, author and illustrator. The original image is from 1882. The illustration is of colorful blue and orange butterflies, flying around a delicate wildflower. Everyone who loves nature, butterflies or vintage art would love to receive this beautiful card for Easter. I have adapted his work by changing the original white background to a pastel sky blue and rounding the corners. I have given the illustration a layered look with a very light pink translucent layer under the foreground. You can change the name on the front and the inside text if you like Other Easter items are in my "Easter and Spring" collection.
