Who doesn’t like a long walk by the sea? The Cami de Ronda in Costa Brava, Spain is wildly and ruggedly beautiful pathway stretching along the Mediterranean. There are actually two Cami de Ronda routes: the linear route connects coastal villages in a 43km route. This route was developed in part to control smuggling and black market activities which lasted from the 18th to the 20th centuries. The circular route begins and ends in Girona, running 140Km through medieval villages and traversing a variety of terrain. You don’t have to walk the entire Cami de Ronda; spend a day on short walks in our favorite villages: Palamos, Begur, Palafrugell and Platja d’ari.
