A classic image from Zazzle's extensive collection of historic American Civil War photographs and lithographs. This commemorative poster print features a reproduction of a photograph of General William Tecumseh Sherman, leaning on breach of a gun, and staff at Federal Fort No. 7, near Atlanta, Georgia; a view from the General Sherman in Atlanta Campaign. After three and a half months of much hard fighting, Sherman forced General Hood to abandon the munitions center of the Confederacy. Sherman remained there for nearly two and a half months; taken in November, 1864.
