This mid 19th century US History print features the bust portraits of women who played a proactive role in W.C.T.U., an acronym for Women's Christian Temperance Union, of Illinois. Prominent in the print is the centrally placed portrait of Frances E. Willard, who served as the organization's president, and in addition to being a temperance reformer, she was also a prominent educator and a noted suffragist.
