Wellington Town Hall organ
- from our Affiliates
The Grand organ of the Wellington Town Hall, New Zealand, showing the metal pipes in their ranks supported by the wooden casing. An organist practises at the console. The organ was built by Norma and Beard and opened in 1906. It was restored by the South Island Organ Company in 1986. This photo highlights the size of the pedal pipes in comparison to the organist, who seems tiny by comparison.
