This Piece was created in memory of a great Leader, Dr. Pedro Albizu Campos: Don Pedro Albizu Campos (June 29, 1893 or September 12, 1891 – April 21, 1965) was a Puerto Rican Politician and one of the leading figures in the Puerto Rican Independence movement. He was the leader and president of the Puerto Rican Nationalist Party from 1930 until his death. He was imprisoned for many years, on several occasions, in both United States and Puerto Rico, on charges that included seditious conspiracy. He died shortly after his release from federal prison. Because of his oratorical skills he was known as El Maestro ("The Teacher"). "Albizu Campos is a symbol of the as yet unfree but indomitable Latin America. Years and years of prison, almost unbearable pressures in jail, mental torture, solitude, total isolation from his people and his family, the insolence of the conqueror and its lackeys in the land of his birth — nothing broke his will. — Che Guevara, speech given to the United Nations General Assembly on December 11, 1964". The Slogan on the design says; When the Tyrranny is Law, The Revolution is Order. Words By: Dr. Pedro Albizu Campos
