Vintage William Morris Snakeshead Fritillary Red Tablecloth - Embellishing this product is ‘Snakeshead’ a pattern, with strong red and black colors that were fashionable at the time, designed in 1877 by Britain’s William Morris (1834-1896). The pattern features one of Morris’s favorite flowers, the fritillary, and a wildflower that he remembered growing in the meadows near Oxford. Morris is recognized as one of the most influential cultural figures of Victorian Britain.
