I've only had mine for about 3 months now and I'd say my only gripe is how different the minimum focus distance is compared to the 13 line. Not necessarily a deal breaker, but still something that throws me for a loop occasionally. I had the same problem with my iPhone 12 Pro Max when the battery health was at 91% after 8 months. Apple ran a diagnostic and told me the battery was in good working condition. The % would then stay at that same number for 6 months before dropping. I found it strange since I still had around 70% of battery before putting the phone down to charge for the night. No other charges throughout the day. The battery wear seems to vary hugely from person to person. My 14 Pro Max is 5 months old, I have 72 cycles and accordingly to Coconut Battery my battery health is at 102,8 % (100% on iOS measure). I leave it charging every night on an Anker charger and a Baseus lightning cable. I'm in the exact same situation. I bought my 14 Pro on launch day, I'm also at 92% as of today. I am a heavy user and I do use AOD often, although I do bounce between turning it on and off. I also charge using wireless charging (not MagSafe) and the regular cable charger. Enhance battery life now. Long-lasting energy for iPhone14. Power up your device. Reliable battery for iPhone14. Extended usage without worry. Invest in better performance.Hi Aaron, i hope you and your family enjoyed the 4th of July holiday. I have the 14 pro max and also have been on the beta's and use the always on display although not with the wallpaper. My battery health is still at 100% and I charge my phone every night as well. I think you just got an iPhone that just didn't have the best battery. Sometimes its just happens. Take care and maybe your next iPhone will be like your previous one's. Bought mine at launch, I am a heavy user and charge mostly via MagSafe. My battery health is at 98%, which I find is solid. Battery life/health is worse than my 13 Pro Max, however it does not have the always on display. My biggest complaint is it seems to drop wireless signal much more often than my 13 did, but that may be the software updates not the modem. Standby mode in iOS 17 is great - but I am a little reluctant to use it too often, because I fear burn-in of the permanent unchanging display. I bought my 14 Pro Max the first day available and my battery health is 100% using always on display but I minimize the display to date and time with black background. I've been happy with it and got used to the size and weight. Only heart-dropped moment was dropping it from 5 feet to concrete with an Apple leather case and switched cases. Had my 14PM since launch day and I average a little under 5 hours a day of screen time. I use the AOD at least 80% of the time and I'm still at 100% Battery Health. My battery life has been great. My 14 PM is 7 months old. Battery health is still at 100%, as it should be. The battery lasts about a day and a half with my usage. Mainly light gaming and a lot of podcasts, music(iTunes), and audio books. The only issue I have from time to time is that the screen doesn't wake up when tapped. I don't use the AOD as it's not something I ever cared about. It's only done it once since 16.5 came out. The phone itself is in excellent condition as I always use a case and screen protector. That's crazy. I've had my 14 pro for 7 months and my battery health is still at 100%! Use optimised battery charging and never let your battery get below 40% it's worked for me 😅 I've owned my 14 pro max since Oct 27th. Battery health is still showing 100%. I have a glass screen protector on it since I got it and the cameras don't have a single scratch on them. Phone has been awesome. I don't think I am gonna trade it in for the 15. I might wait to see what the 16 or even 17 will be about since the 14 has been so good for me and my uses. Have had my 14 PM since launch and I'm at 97%. Probably have only used the always on for two weeks in total. I did experience a ton of heat for the first few weeks of ownership and I truly feel like that's why it's at 97 and not 100 like my 13 PM was at this point. I recently bought iPhone 14 Pro and I can confirm that it heats up a lot during normal usage as well as while charging. I previously had an iPhone 13 Pro Max and that didn't have this issue. I reckon Apple hasn't really tuned ios for the 14 Pro series. I got my 14PM at launch and I love it. My battery is still at a 100% but I'm not a heavy user. I charge it once in two days since most of my tasking my Ipad mini is doing. Also, the Always On Display is turned off and the screen brightness is mostly between 25% to 50% when I'm in doors. Reminds me of my regular non pro iPhone 12. 9 months and I was down to 91% with just normal use. No heavy gaming and I didn't abuse it. I'm on a newer 14 pro from march and still at 100% even on the betas Ran all the betas this year, AOD always enabled, and I used MagSafe about 50% of the time. After 9 months I dropped down to 92% battery health. Mean while, my wife has the 13pro since launch and her's is at 89%. Not sure if the 15p will be worth it this year but will have to wait and see. I have a brand new 14p thanks to apples amazing customer service so now my battery health is 100%. I have upgraded every iPhone every year since the iPhone 8. Using MagSafes for past few generations and I can confirm that after 1 year, my battery normally runs between 93-95%. My 14 pro as at today is already 91%. My 14 pro max just dropped to 98% battery. My 13 pro max during beta last year also dropped about the same last year. Both times during the hot summer months in cars without air conditioning. I fixed it last year since I DoorDash and film with my phones and was concerned about the battery but the compressor is bad again. Will fix as soon as I can for same reason. I keep white point down and it helped my battery immensely. Just bought 14 Pro Max last week and it was the best investment I made this year. Just realized that Apple has made minor upgrades from 12 series to 14 series, I think the 15 series won't have major differences from the 14 series. Right now I'm happy with the performance, battery life, photo/video quality, etc. I definitely can agree with you about how bad the battery health it's in the 14PM. Mine also has a 92% I have my iPhone 14 pro max since November and my battery health is at 97%. I usually charge it once every two days. My previous iPhone 11 took over a year to drop below 100%. I don't use this phone or charge it any differently than my previous one My launch day 13PM is at 87%, way lower than what my XR was at when I replaced it. I also suspect it is due to heat from the betas. But it could also be that I use a fast charger and MagSafe battery pack daily. i'm using a 13 pro from december of 2021 and have 88% battery health. it's holding up great for my needs and will easily wait to see what the 15 has to offer. depending on what it has, i'll wait till the hustle and bustle of launch/holiday season to get my hands on it, if it entices me enough. for someone like me, the year over year upgrades isn't worth it, but a few years in-between would be a better showcase for me. Mine just dropped to 99% today after 10 months of consistent use. Mostly used mag safe charging 98% of the time. After this last update though it does seem like battery life has gotten worse overall. Unleash untapped battery potential. Say goodbye to low power. Enjoy non-stop productivity.
