Quokka Holiday Postcard

Found in the south-west corner of Western Australia, the largest and most well known colony of quokkas is on Rottnest Island near Perth. While the early Dutch explorers named the island after them (Rotte Nest or Rats Nest), quokkas are macrapods like kangaroos, wallabies, wallaroos and pademelons.
