Zippy the sugar glider is ten weeks old in this photo of him sleeping peacefully after the first week of Oct. 2012. He was unaware of the human contact until he awoke. Still not bonded yet with his new owner, Zippy was scared to see this giant looking down at him. Sugar gliders are from the marsupial family. They have the ability to glide through the air, much like a flying squirrel. a native of Australia and becoming a popular family pet.
