'running immigrants' sign is a caution sign posted along Southern Californian interstates which depict a family running. Given the ongoing conversation about immigration (national policy debate in the presidential campaigns, local debate over in-state tuition/ ESOL standardized test-takers, local debate over social centers for migrant workers, etc...) the article would be a great spark for a current event lesson. The sign has also recently been added to the Smithsonian.
