This vintage style coat of arms framed by grapevines is mostly suitable for a rustic kitchen. Restored from a 19th century book, this drawing by Hugo G. Ströhl is the coat of arms of Patria dal Friuli showing the heraldic Eagle of gold spreading its wings on a blue background. Its origin goes back to the Patrie dal Friûl, the historical Friulian state that was independent from 1077 to 1420 under the control of the Patriarch of Aquileia. Its people are very connected to their land, whose numerous vineyards produce high quality wine, expression of deep-rooted tradition and culture. As some areas of the Patrie del Friûl were at some point part of the Habsburg empire, Ströhl included this coat of arms in his famous work "Österreichisch-Ungarische Wappenrolle" (1890).
