This simple, stylish modern photo birth announcement template features your baby's name with details below it along with 'INTRODUCING' highlighted in all upper case letters. But please feel free to change this INTRODUCING text to whatever strikes your fancy, be it 'WELCOME!' or 'HELLO, WORLD!', etc. If you'd like to highlight your gratitude for a gift and make this a thank you card, you can edit it to show 'THANK YOU' or similar sentiments. And in any case, you can include your gratitude in a short message on the back. If you prefer a more minimalist look, you can delete without replacing any of our sample stats on the front-you might not want to include the time of day or length, for example. And the length of your baby's name above the stats might also prompt you to leave out some of the stats in order to achieve a balanced look between the two lines of text, etc. And speaking of balance, you might decide to make some of the front text larger or smaller. The default color for the text on the front is a very dark gray that's mostly black, except for the name text, which we've highlighted in an elegant gold tone called California Gold. On the back it's a different shade of gray. You might choose to change the font, punctuation or color used for various text elements of this design on the front and/or back. For example, you might change the name text color on the front or other text to blue, pink or another color. We've chosen standard sharp corners as the default shape, but you can easily change that to rounded corners, as that look also works very well with this design. So check both styles and see which one grabs you! We've added a semitransparent white layer on the bottom of the card that gives this card a unique flair. It allows the bottom of your photo to remain somewhat visible while at the same time ensuring that the text will stand out regardless of what photo you use. This lends a feeling of flow as well as a practical touch to the design that adds to its simple, contemporary charm and warmth. The default background on the back is set as transparent to let the paper color simply serve as the base tone. But you can easily change this by either picking one of the basic colors in the editing tools, entering another color number in place of ours if you have a specific hue in mind that you found in your research, or by looking at the color spectrum tool and choosing something by sight. We've put some placeholder text on the back for you to delete and replace with your own message, with or without your names, if you want to sign by hand when you get the cards. But you might also simply choose to delete our placeholder text and leave the back entirely blank so that you can write a message by hand on each card and sign your names. The default paper type, matte, has a soft warmth to it and resists smudging, so it's a great choice for writing your own message. You can edit this and choose semi-gloss or another paper type instead. In any case please do remember that there's placeholder text on the back as well and to delete all of our sample/placeholder text on both sides of the card!
