Greenwood Plantation located in St Francisville, Louisiana. The plantation was built in 1830 by William Ruffin Barrow. But due to lightning struck in 1960, the home was destroyed by fire. Eight years later it was rebuilt to its former glory and was done by 1984. At least five movies have been made here: Drango, Louisiana, North and South – Book 1, North and South – book 2, Sister Sister
