A dragon and a lady in Art Nouveau style. This is a vector rendering of a vintage image I found on the web. I particular like Art nouveau, it's elegant, classy but still with a modern feel. The colors I used a bold, for instance red, black and minty teal. The dragon age may be long gone but these creatures are still part of our imagination. Every now and then a dragon pops op in a movie. Sometimes an evil murderous dragon and sometimes as cute pet. No Fantasy movie or book can do without a dragon. Dragons are part of our folklore and usually it involves a sacrifice of a young woman. I don't when they appeared, there is the Welsh dragon, the dragon of Saint George and of course the Chinese dragons. Maybe they were just some monsters with snake properties which morphed in our "modern" dragon.
