The Helm of Awe, a type of runic stave, used by early vikings, it is symbol of protection used by early Vikings. It is also know as Aegishjalmur and the helm of terror. It is a magical spell, made up of trident like runes. This design was often tattooed onto people or etched into armor. I have illustrated this design in a distressed paint splatter like effect. The colors are red and yellow to represent blood and steel.
