hutchence was the first cat i owned. i adoted him as tiny the summer before my final year of college. in the spring, he went across the country with my mom, in what was supposed to be a temporary arrangement until i got settled on the east coast. in the remaining, she fell in love with him, too, and only the arrangement changed to her having primary, and i got to visit him once or year, around the past twice. had a long, happy life, and is sorely missed by all who knew him.
