Séguy’s Art Deco Blue Flower Throw Pillow

Eugène Alain Séguy was a French entomologist who specialized in Diptera. He held a chair of entomology at the Museum National d'Histoire Naturelle in Paris from 1956 -1960. Seguy was active predominantly in Paris between 1900 until the early 30s. From the turn of the 20th century through the 1920s, the Art Deco French designer and author created a wondrous collection of colorful illustrations inspired by the natural world. His work was originally designed for textiles and wallpaper.
