Easter greeting card inspired by a lovely floral fantasy. The picture shows the faces of two sweet girls, each in the center of a red flower head. These kind of pictures, half child and half flower, were created to engage children to learn about the natural world, actually by means of identification: All children are flowers in the garden of God's love - and a flower is the mystical counterpart of a child. The original picture was published as an Easter postcard by Ernest Nister (German 1841–1906). The artist may have been Irene Marcellus.
