Postcard inspired by a lovely antique Valentine card (circa 1910), found in the digital collections of the Missouri History Museum. The picture shows a sweet little girl who is carrying a huge basket of blue forget-me-not flowers. She looks very happy, holding a newly arrived Valentine greeting to her heart. The artist is unknown, but accomplished, makes me think of Ellen Clapsaddle or Frances Brundage. The quality of this old chromolithograph is really outstanding.
