Acrylic print inspired by a much loved painting by Edward Robert Hughes (Midsummer Eve, 1908). It is one of those magical semi-dark summer nights. A young woman is standing in a forest glade, surrounded by a ring of fairy creatures. Perhaps she is the fairy queen Titania? Both the title, Midsummer Eve, and the motif seem to be pointing to Shakespeare and the play A Midsummer Night's Dream. Update: new better source file. If you want a larger print, I would like to recommend the 20" x 30" option (no cropping).
