Poster inspired by a painting of an elegant and decorative orange poppy by Japanese artist Ohara Koson (1877-1945). Ohara Koson was one of the foremost Japanese artists of the 20th century. He was also a notable member of the Shin-Hanga movement that sought to revive the old Japanese bird and flower painting traditions. There is also an inspirational quote on the poster: In your garden of thought, cultivate harmony. Many people seem to think that Ohara Koson really said these words, but I don't know if that is true. At least the quote seems to be very much in spirit with this flower picture as well as many other artworks of Ohara Koson. A great poster for rooms where you want to relax and feel at peace, for home as well as office (especially health care professions).
