These unusual coasters feature my painting of a Martello tower and push bike leaning against the rocks, just along from the Fisherman's Beach Hythe Kent, England. Martello towers are fascinating structures that line the coast at strategic intervals. These were. built between 1805 and 1808 as small artillery forts where garrisons lived ready to fight invading armies. A great gift and ideal for brightening up occasional tables and work tops.
