Postcard with a vintage photo lithograph of Carrick Castle in Scotland from 1895 pictures the ivy covered ruins of a red sandstone medieval tower with mountains in the background and a lake with boats in the foreground. Digitally cleaned, enhanced and artistically rendered to resemble pen and ink with watercolors. The 15th century tower house on the west shore of Loch Goil in Argyll, Scotland was reclaimed from the English by Robert the Bruce in 1307. Mary, Queen of Scots, visited in 1563.
