The original colorful painting of autumn leaves on these nails has been enhanced to give it a monochrome effect. The image is a watercolor picture that I painted a few years ago. I painted the picture from photograph that I took of an amazing "rhus typhina" tree that was growing in my garden, the tree is also know as "stag's-horn sumach," the amazing autumn leaf colours of gold, red, green and bluish green hues look very beautiful and they shine like flames on a cold sunny autumn day, and even in monochrome this abstract style design stands out as unique. The original colors and shapes are as I saw them when I painted them. These cool stand alone nails make a unique gift for someone special, or maybe you just want to spoil yourself to a well deserved treat at any time of year.
