I think this original poem poster will touch the heart of everyone who has ever owned an ageing loyal dog. The tenderness and loyalty that a companion dog gives over the years is something that deserves to given the same back in their last years. The dog in the photograph on this poster is my old akita named Benny, Benny was everything to me and I'm sure there are many dog owners who feel the same. As he was aging and his bone cancer was progressing I wrote this poem especially for my Benny, I hope everyone who reads my poetry will know exactly where it comes from, my heart, so many of you will be able to associate with the words and sentiment.
