This amazingly lady is Annie an American type Akita. Annie is a black and white girl (with a touch of akita brindle) Annie's sweet expression is one of the most endearing I've ever painted. What a wonderful breed the Japanese akita dog is, loyal and very smart as well as being extrordinarily beautiful dogs. Akita's are also very independent large dogs with very soft big hearts. I painted Annie's dog portrait in soft pastels. This tile with it's original portrait of Annie painting is a "must have" for everyone who is owned by an akita or who just admires the akita breed, and dogs of all shapes and sizes, will make a great gift for someone special, or maybe you just want to treat yourself to this lovely pet portrait art tile.
