Cute akita with teddy bear dog trucker hat

This is a very pretty Japanese akita girl called Poppy, I painted her portrait in watercolour and then I made an outline drawing from it. Poppy was photographed with her favourite teddy bear for her pet portrait, the image of her with Mr. Ted really brought out her akita sweetness, then I added the text to the picture because Poppy loves her teddy bear and all akita people love their akita bears. Poppy was a joy to paint and I'm sure this great hat will make a lovely gift for someone who loves akita's and dogs of all shapes and sizes, or perhaps it's a special treat for yourself. Poppies original dog portrait is painted in watercolour.
