aHUS Awareness Day T shirt (Kids)
24 September is aHUS Awareness Day. Dedicated to sharing information and insight into the extremely rare disease atypical Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome, the aHUS Alliance invites people and organizations around the world to participate in raising aHUS awareness. The world's first aHUS Awareness Day was created as an international effort by the aHUS Alliance and held in 2015 on 24 September, marking that same week 60 years ago the term Haemolytic Uraemic Syndrome first appeared in medical literature. Follow the campaign on Twitter @aHUS24Sept, #aHUS24Sept and #SHUa24Sept. The aHUS Alliance is an umbrella organization of patient organizations and global advocates from around the world. Our coordinated efforts center on the common goals of supporting aHUS patients and their families, discussing and addressing common concerns, and improving access to drugs and therapies that can save lives and improve patient outcomes.
