The Arrival of the Queen of the Night (Act 1, Scene 1) was a stage set for the Opera "The Magic Flute," an opera in two acts composed in 1791 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Karl Friedrich Schinkel (1781-1841) was a Prussian architect and painter; one of the most prominent German architects and the best example of neoclassicism of his era.
