The journey to the catskills used to take 2 full days by train, luckily for us, it got much faster. The food got better too - taking a pit stop at the Red Apple midway through the trip was a godsend. As you pulled over to grab a bite, you could feel your mind unwinding from the city. You could feel yourself letting go of all the cares of work. You also started to get your first taste of what was in store for the summer. Comedians would try out their (more risque) material at the Red Apple as a warmup for the resort shows. When you wear this luxuriously thick tee, you will remember the feeling of leaving your cares at the Red Apple, and kicking your summer off right with some good food and good belly laughs.
