THE RACES AT LONGCHAMP - EDOUARD MANET TISSUE PAPER
- from our Affiliates
One of two vary famous impressionist paintings of the famous Longchamp horse racing facility in France. (The other by Edgar Degas.) The artist is able to put us directly on the course with a cluster of horses comin onward rather than the usual choice of painting the image as if we are in the crowd on the sideines. The blurred lines of the impressionist style almost adds to the deception of oncoming speed from the horse. Digitally enhanced for a brighter color palette on a backdrop of a WIlliam Morris print pattern. For other art by Manet see the SalvageScapes store collection EDOUARD MANET
