One of William Morris' most favorite designs finalized and launched the 1880's. This iconic pattern and name was based on the thrushes which frequently stole the strawberries in the kitchen garden of Morris' countryside home in Oxfordshire. Despite the fact that this design was one of the most expensive printed textiles it became a firm favorite with clients during the Victoria era and is still highly sought after today.
