Tiny Tim was a novelty singer & ukulele player who reached the apex of his notoriety in the late 1960s with his successful rendition of "Tiptoe Through the Tulips." Beginning in small clubs in Times Square and Greenwich Village under various stage names, he made his public debut on Rowan & Martin's Laugh-in, singing in his trademark falsetto range. It was on this show that he married his first wife "Miss Vicki" in 1969 in front of forty million stunned and/or amused viewers. He suffered a heart attack during his last public performance in 1996, and died soon thereafter. His music appears on some thirty albums and singles.
