Mouse Pad - Spirograph Meets Black Magic

This fabulous, computer-generated design brings together two of my favorite, childhood, "art" techniques . . . Spirograph and "Black Magic". "Black Magic" was the process of using bright colors to cover the paper in a random design and then covering that design with black crayon or tempura paint. Then, the "edge" of a popsicle stick was used to draw a design, gently peeling away the black to reveal the colors beneath. The combination of these two makes a stunning, slightly retro design of bold colors on a deep black backdrop.
