Watercolor art by Sveta Mikhalevich. Urban sketch of Odesa city, Ukraine. An ancient bridge and a griffin near Teschiny Bridge witnessed the history of Odesa. This beautiful landscape was painted from nature, in the very first year when I created the Urban Sketchers Odesa group to draw urban landscapes together. At this meeting, I met the artist, with whom we later went to plein air many times and founded our workshop and gallery in Odessa. The painting participated in three exhibitions and is now in a private collection in Paris. This landscape is about beauty and grace - the openwork decor of the bridge and the openwork trees repeating it create a romantic mood.
