Despite living in an area where many predators soared the skies looking for their meals, there was a veritable bumper crop of Eastern Cottontail rabbits in 2016. During one leisurely 2 km walk through Boundary Bay Regional Park in the month of May, we counted no fewer than 17 (including a few baby bunnies), including this adult, in the long grass.
