Pi The Irrational Mathematical Constant Fun Paper Plates Affiliate icon

This black and white art piece, designed digitally, is released in commemoration of Pi Day, which is observed each year on March 14. The date 3.14 corresponds to the rounded value of π (pi), a well-recognized mathematical constant. The design features the value of the Pi constant to the first 100 decimal places in a circle (composing a circle's circumference), and the symbol and name of the constant across the circle (composing the diameter of the circle). As π is commonly defined as Circumference divided by the Diameter of a Circle. Interesting to note is that π (pi) is an irrational number, meaning that its decimal form neither ends nor becomes repetitive. It also the sixteenth letter of the Greek alphabet. March 14 is also celebrated as International Day of Mathematics, which was designated as such by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) at their 40th General Conference in November 2019, to emphasize the importance of the mathematical sciences. This is a perfect addition to your office or library or gift for that math teacher you adore! Happy Pi Day!
