The red, green, and light blue botanical design on this tissue paper is derived from the Persia textile design of the William Morris & Company in the late 1800s Victorian and neo-Victorian era. The famous Britsh textile created a wide variety of Art Nouveau designs, many inspired by nature, and was a proponent of Persian design as well. He was also a poet, artist, philosopher, author, translator, typographer and political theorist. His love of Persia is evident in this lovely cottage garden floral wall paper design with seed pods, berries, flowers, and foliage.
