Vintage White-Eared Puff Bird with Rainbow Sky Magnet

This image is a remix of an 1850s vintage illustration of a white-eared puffbird. Painterly effects have been applied to the bird, as well as a rainbow sky background. The white-eared puffbird (Nystalus chacuru) is found in Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay, Argentina and Peru, and it reminds me a bit of a kingfisher. It has a large head with a dark brown fuzzy crown, and a distinctive orange, black-tipped bill. They tend to sit and wait for insects that fly their way.
