This is a photo-print taken from a beautiful vintage Turkish or Persian rug, shown here in its original colors. The pattern woven into the original antique carpet that this photo-print was taken from was in the traditional warm colors used for these handmade rugs, with reds and scarlets dominating, and gold and duck-egg blue supporting. The pattern is repeated to fill the width of the pillow and the reverse side repeats this two-up design. The original antique carpet was showing some signs of wear and these flaws are reproduced in the photo-print to keep the character.
