Clothes washing day?! Actually, this amazing image was made by the Art Nouveau master artist Alphonse Mucha in 1897. It's an advertisement for a "bluing" product called "Blue Deschamps," which when used, created a whiter and brighter fabric. The image says "Bleu Deschamps en vente ici" which means "Blue Deschamps on sale now." What a beautiful and totally fresh vintage image!
